Easy Asian-Style Rice with Egg

INGREDIENTS

SERVES 1

  • 1 cup Brown Rice (microwave Pouches With 2 Servings In Each)
  • 1/4 tsp Ground Ginger
  • 1 Cage Free Brown Egg
  • 2 tsp tamari sauce (gluten-free)
  • 1 stalk scallion(s)

DIRECTIONS

1 Prepare the rice according to package directions; stir in the ginger.
2 Meanwhile, heat the oil in a small eco-friendly nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add the egg and cook until desired doneness. Serve on top of the rice. Sprinkle with the soy sauce and scallion and serve warm.
3 (Hint: To take it to go, transport in a takeout container; enjoy with chopsticks. Chill if not eating within 2 hours.)
