Create this green superfood smoothie with a variety of frozen fruits and vegetables, from mango cubes to broccoli, baby spinach, cucumber and more! Add a hint of lemon juice, ginger root and turmeric for added nutrients. (Photo: Jackie Newgent)

INGREDIENTS

SERVES 2

  • 3 tbsp Raw Shelled Hemp Seeds
  • 1 3/4 cups mango
  • 1 cup English Cucumber
  • 1 cup Organic Baby Spinach
  • 1 cup Unsweetened Green Tea
  • 1/2 cup Broccoli, frozen, spears, unprepared
  • 1/2 cup mint leaves
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Fresh Ginger Root
  • 1/8 tsp Tumeric

DIRECTIONS

1 Add the hemp seeds to a blender. Cover and blend on high speed until powdery.
2 Add the frozen mango, unpeeled chopped cucumber, spinach, chilled green tea, frozen broccoli, mint, lemon juice, ginger, and turmeric. Cover and blend on high speed until well puréed.
3 Pour into chilled jars or tall glasses, and serve.
